Everyday volunteer firefighters across the state of Pennsylvania respond to assist their residents with whatever emergency situations may arise. Earlier this year the tables were turned, and residents were challenged to assist their local volunteer fire company by nominating them to win an award sponsored by Josh Cellar wines. Through the leadership of Mr. Joseph Carr, Josh Cellars Wines would donate five thousand dollars to three nominated volunteer fire companies in Pennsylvania in appreciation for their dedication to the communities that they serve. The Haycock Fire Company has received one of these awards based on the number of respondents to this challenge. This contest was run in conjunction with the PA Fine Wine and Spirits stores.

Mr. Joseph Carr and Josh Cellar Wines has been supporting all first responders as well as the volunteer fire service throughout the country for many years and is closely associated with the National Volunteer Fire Council.

The Haycock Fire Company serves Haycock Township and portions of Springfield and East Rockhill Townships. The officers and members of the Haycock Fire Company would like to thank Josh Cellars Wine for the generous donation and especially the members of our community who entered the contest on our behalf and as we say in the fire service “it’s good to know that someone has your back”.
